King Gizzard & The Wizard Lizard Unveil U.S. Residency Tour Dates

This morning, King Gizzard & The Wizard Lizard unveiled the dates and locations for their impending U.S. Residency Tour, slated to begin when the band hits American soil this summer. On the road, the ensemble will perform newly announced runs in Tennessee, Colorado, Illinois and Washington.
The forthcoming tour will see the Australian rockers kick off their Residency Tour with a two-nights at The Caverns Underground in Grundy County, Tenn., on June 1 through 2. Then, on June 3, the group will resurface for one night on The Caverns Amphitheatre stage.
After a few nights off the road, King Gizzard & The Wizard Lizard will resume their tour will a set of dates scheduled for the fabled Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo. The band’s first Colorado date lands on June 7, followed by an early and late show billed to happen at the iconic venue on June 8.
From Colorado to Illinois, the six-piece will partake in a three-night run at Chicago’s The Salt Shed next. The Windy City stand will last from June 11 through 13 before the musicians hop over to the West Coast for the final leg of their tour.
For the band’s final residency, they will arrive at Carnation Farms in Carnation, Wash., approximately 45-minutes outside of Seattle. There, King Gizzard intends to jam on June 16 through 18 before popping down to Los Angeles for their only non-residency tour stop at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on June 21. The latter will feature a three-hour marathon set.
Tickets for King Gizzard and The Wizard Lizards’ U.S. Residency Tour go on sale this Friday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m. P.T., 1 p.m. E.T.
