HeadCount Launches ‘Save The Vote’ Campaign

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of 18-year-olds being granted the right to vote, non-profit (and non-partisan) organization HeadCount has launched the “Save The Vote” Campaign.

The campaign compels music fans to reach out to their elected officials via email, phone and text message, making the usually-complicated process “easier than ordering a pizza.”

The non-profit – which has roots in the jam scene registering voters on tour with Dead & Company and eventually joining mega-tours with Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande – recently celebrated registering 1 million voters.

“In almost every state in America, some elected officials are trying to make it harder for you to vote,” reads an official HeadCount announcement. “If you don’t like having your right to vote messed with, you can do something about it right now. Let’s Save The Vote!”
