George Porter Jr. Reopens Garcia’s at The Capitol Theatre (A Gallery)

George Porter Jr. kicked off his four-night reopening run at Garcia’s at The Capitol Theatre on July 14, welcoming friends and fans of the intimate club with plenty of funk.
“Here we come New York! It’s been so long we’ve decided to come up for 4 nights,” the Meters bassist wrote when the run was announced.
