DelFest Announces Late-Night Programming: Billy Strings, Yonder Mountain String Band, Railroad Earth, More

In addition to celebrating festival founder Del McCoury’s 80th birthday, DelFest has scheduled a jam-packed late-night schedule, showcasing up-and-comers like Billy Strings and established acts like Yonder Mountain String Band and Railroad Earth alike.

The main festival performances will take place on Maryland’s Allegany County Fairgrounds, but according to a press release, “these nightly, indoor late night shows require separate admission” and “everyone who attends Late Night shows MUST have a multi-day festival wristband, as single-day passes expire after the final performance on the Grandstand Stage.”

As previously mentioned, late-night performers include Billy Strings (Thursday), Yonder Mountain String Band (Friday), the Larry Keel Experience (Friday), Railroad Earth (Saturday) and Joe Craven (Saturday).

The fest’s final evening of late night programming will feature a collaborative set called “The DelFest Chaser” with side-by-set performances by The Travelin’ McCourys, Sam Bush and more.

Tickets for DelFest and its corresponding late-night gigs are available now.

(Event organizers are sure these intimate, late-night shows will sell out. Tickets are priced at $25.)
