Dave Matthews Band Welcome Tia Fuller in New Hampshire

Last night, Dave Matthews Band welcomed American saxophonist, composer, and educator Tia Fuller during their performance at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Meadowbrook, Gilford, N.H. The saxophonist, who is known as a respected member of Beyoncé’s all-female touring band, assisted Dave Matthews band on three tracks, including a debut cover of The Isley Brother’s “It’s Your Thing.”
Dave Matthews Band kicked off their show with “One Sweet World” and continued with beloved originals “Grey Street” and “#41.” Next came “That Girl is You,” “Seven,” and “Warehouse” before their first cover of the evening, Led Zeppelin’s “Fool in the Rain.” Dave Matthews and his band settled into the sands of a more recent release, 2021’s “Madman’s Eyes.” They followed with “You & Me,” and “So Right” before they welcomed Fuller to the stage. The Berklee College of Music educator first assisted them on “Jimi Thing,” adding golden brass to their mélange of sound. She continued to share her saxophone skill on “When the World Ends” before the band’s debut cover of The Isley Brothers’ iconic 1969 hit “It’s Your Thing.”
After a round of applause for Fuller, Dave Matthews Band carried on with”Pantala Naga Pampa,” “Rapunzel,” “Come On Come On,” and “Don’t Drink the Water.” Matthews let his vocals shine on the “Granny,” which served as the set’s penultimate track, and they closed the set with the ever playful “Ants Marching.” After a short pause, the ensemble returned to the stage for a cover comprised of two covers: Tex Ritter’s “Rye Whiskey,” which Matthews performed solo, and Bob Dylan’s seminal “All Along the Watchtower.”
Dave Matthews Band will perform again at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Meadowbrook, Gilford, N.H., tonight.
