Coldplay Announce 2023 UK and European Tour Dates

Yesterday, Coldplay announced another round of concert dates that will see the British rock ensemble bring their international jaunt to the farther reaches of the U.K. and Europe. The added dates are a part of the troupe’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour, which supports their latest studio album, for which the tour is named.
According to the band’s website, after a late fall trek which will bring the group through South America, with dates stretching from mid-September through early November, they’ll take an extended break that will last through the holiday season and into the spring.
Finally, the rock royals will pick up on May 17 in Coimbra, Portugal, for a concert at Estádio Cidade de Coimbra. They’ll follow up with two nights at Barcelona’s Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on May 24 and 25 before returning to their native England for a two-night stand on May 31 and June 1 at Etihad Stadium in Manchester.
From there, the trek will continue to Cardiff on June 6, when Coldplay arrives for a single-night affair at the Principality Stadium. The tour will continue on June 21 in Naples, Italy, before jumping to Milan for a double feature on June 26 and 26 at Stadio San Siro. After a few days off the road, they’ll return to the stage on July 5 and 6, when the band appears at Parken in Copenhagen.
Then, Coldplay will travel to Sweden for two consecutive nights of music in Gothenburg on July 8 and 9. The last newly added tour stops land on July 15 and 16, when the band takes the stage at Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam.
Tickets for Coldplay’s forthcoming Music Of The Spheres World Tour 2023 go on sale Thursday, Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. local time. For more information, visit coldplay.com.
