Multiple sources have confirmed that guitar legend Carlos Santana passed out on stage during a performance at the Pine Knob Music Theatre, in Clarkson, Mich., just 40 miles northwest of Detroit.

Roop Raj, reporter and evening anchor at Fox2 Detroit, re-tweeted a photo of Santana receiving medical attention and wrote, “Medical personnel on stage,” he went on to report that the crowd was asked to pray for the 74-year-old because of a “serious medical issue.”

Graff shared an update less than an hour ago at 10: 37 p.m. ET, writing, “Carlos Santana taken offstage on stretcher 20 minutes after collapsing at Pine Knob Music No word on condition yet but he waved while being rolled off.”

Santana was performing at the Pine Knob Music Theatre in support of his Miraculous Supernatural 2022 Tour: Santana + Earth, Wind & Fire, promoting his 26th studio album, 2021’s Blessings and Miracles.

Santana is scheduled to perform again tomorrow evening (July 6) at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, Pa.

UPDATE: Santana’s representation has issued a statement sharing that the Grammy award-winning artist is now recovering, and attributed his collapse due to heat exhaustion and dehydration.
