Borderland Festival has unveiled the initial artist lineup for its 2025 event, set to return to East Aurora, N.Y. from September 12-14. Staging as always at the scenic and historic Knox Farm State Park, Borderland’s seventh annual event will once again welcome West New York’s premier musicians, craftspeople and restaurateurs to join in a celebration of the region. This year’s bill features 25 acts so far, led by massive headliners Vampire Weekend, Khruangbin, Mt. Joy and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.
The artists featured on Borderland Festival’s next staging are bigger than ever before, matching arena-packing names with beloved rising stars. The artists represent the same eclectic mix of jam, rock, folk, bluegrass, R&B and everything in between that attendees have come to expect of the local staple event, with this year’s program steering further into indie with both its biggest artists and undercard.
Beyond the titanic headliners, Borderland 2025 will host performances from Band of Horses, The Teskey Brothers, Trampled By Turtles, Robert Randolph, Joy Oladokun, The 502s, Yoke Lore, The Soul Rebels, The Heavy Heavy, Mountain Grass Unit, Neighbor, Johnny Mullenax and Bob Marley’s legendary backing band The Wailers, who will return after an exhilarating staging at the 2024 festival. The event’s second stage will showcase sets from some of West New York’s hometown heroes, including Organ Fairchild, Strictly Hip and the Borderland Dead All Stars, who will honor departed pioneers Phil Lesh and Garth Hudson with “The Band’s Dead.”
Tickets for Borderland Festival 2025 will be available through a pre-sale this Thursday, Feb. 27 at 9 a.m. ET. General on-sale will follow on Friday, Feb. 28 at 9 a.m. ET. For more information, visit borderlandfestival.com.
