After teasing the event on social media, Bob Weir has revealed that he is teaming up with FANS for a special New Year’s Eve event, streamed live from his own TRI Studios in San Rafael.

Weir will be backed by his trusted Wolf Bros (Don Was and Jay Lane) for the gig, plus Dead & Company keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and pedal-steel player Greg Leisz.

“We’re back & we’re here to light y’all up,” Weir said via press release.

The livestream will kick off on Dec. 31 at 10 p.m. ET and run until the clock strikes midnight.

West Coast fans can also enjoy a special rebroadcast, beginning at 10 p.m. PT.
