Bob Weir & Wolf Bros Announce 4-Show Kennedy Center Run with the National Symphony Orchestra

From Feb. 9 to 13, 2022, Bob Weir & Wolf Bros will descend upon Washington DC’s Kennedy Center to perform a special string of shows with the National Symphony Orchestra.

Weir, drummer Jay Lane and bassist Don Was will also be joined by keysman Jeff Chimenti and The Wolfpack string/horn section (Alex Kelly, Brian Switzer, Adam Theis, Mads Tolling, and Sheldon Brown).

Reads an official description, “Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros featuring The Wolfpack join the NSO for a once-in-a-lifetime collaboration. Formed in 2018 by Weir, Grammy-winning producer and bassist Don Was, drummer Jay Lane, and pianist Jeff Chimenti, Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros perform the expansive catalogue of Grateful Dead, Bobby’s solo albums, and more. The orchestration is provided by Stanford professor Dr. Giancarlo Aquilanti.”

Weir discussed the project in a Relix cover story earlier this year.

Tickets are on sale now.
