This winter, Béla Fleck and the Flecktones will cross the country spreading holiday tidings with the Jingle All the Way Tour. From Nov. 26 to Dec. 20, the long-running bluegrass fusion ensemble’s original lineup of banjoist and bandleader Fleck, pianist Howard Levy, drummer Roy Wooten and bassist Victor Wooten will take 21 stages in the Northeast, Southeast and Midwest for a tour spanning their vast, pioneering catalog and anchored in their Grammy-winning 2008 album of the same name.

To revisit their celebrated reinterpretations of holiday classics for the first time in over 15 years, the Flecktones will welcome their album collaborators, Tuvan throat singing ensemble Akash and Jeff Coffin, the current Dave Matthews Band saxophonist who played with the Flecktones from 1998 to 2010. The Jingle All the Way tour will mark the first-ever shared stages from the group’s original lineup and their special guests.

Béla Fleck and the Flecktones will kick off their Jingle All the Way Tour with two nights at Nashville, Tenn.’s hallowed Ryman Auditorium on Nov. 26 and 28. After the encore at Country’s Mother Chruch, the band will launch their Midwest leg with a Nov. 29 show at Cincinnati’s Taft Theatre, followed by appearances in Ann Arbor, Mich., Champaign, Ill. and Grand Rapids, Mich. before their performance at Chicago’s Salt Shed on Dec. 3.

The Flecktones will roll into a Northeast series with their Dec. 5 engagement at Ithaca, N.Y.’s State Theatre, then blow through Boston, Portland, Maine and Burlington, Vt. en route to their Dec. 10 show at New York’s Beacon Theatre, which will be the Flecktones’ largest NYC show to date. After bouncing back and forth between Rochester, NY.’s Kodak Hall, Philadelphia’s Miller Theater and Stony Brook, N.Y.’s Staller Center from Dec. 11-13, the Flecktones’ final lap will be a race down the East Coast, making stops in North Bethesda, Md., Charlottesville, Va., Durham, N.C., Athens, Ga. and Atlanta through their finale at New Orleans’ Joy Theater on Dec. 20.

“Christmas music is inside everyone’s DNA,” Fleck said of the upcoming tour. “Jingle All the Way is an open doorway for listeners to understand the Flecktones’ music.”

Tickets for Béla Fleck and the Flecktones’ Jingle All the Way Tour will become available through an artist presale this Wednesday, July 16 at 10 a.m. local time. General on-sale will follow on Friday, July 18 at 10 a.m. local time. For more information, visit belafleck.com.
