ALO have announced the April 4, 2025, release of their forthcoming album and fourth via Bushfire Records, Frames. As a preview of their eclectic set, the ensemble, comprised of Zach Gill, Ezra Lipp, Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz and Steve Adams, shared the first single, “Blank Canvas,” and shared additional tour dates, which will arrive after the release of the forthcoming record.

Frames presents 10 new tracks that flawlessly coalesce modes of rock, electronic, alt-pop, folk, dance, funk, and the group’s signature quip, given every player’s status as a lead singer and writer. Like on “Blank Canvas,” which co-opts a node of optimism and evoked comment from Gill [who penned the track], “It’s about looking at the world with fresh eyes and leaving behind cynicism.”

Adams adds, “sonically and thematically, it felt like the perfect album opener. Bare and vulnerable, yet full of possibility.” The aforementioned sonic motifs permeate the tracking list at a high rate in order to provide sonic commentary on the fast-paced lifestyle society tends to embark on. Furthermore, given the flashing speed at which media is thrust at consumers [willingly or not], there is a destructive element to this process with grave effects.

To break the pattern, ALO uses Frames to save space for love and individuality, qualities that have made them a West Coast favorite. In addition to new music, ALO also shared a list of new tour dates; see the list below.
