Today, Mempho Music Festival detailed the daily lineups set for their gathering at the Radians Ampitheater at the Memphis Botanic Garden from Sept. 30 through Oct. 2.
This year’s Mempho Music Festival marks the fifth edition of the jamboree and will kick off with The Black Keys and Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit. Friday, Sept. 30 will also see performances by Fantastic Negrito, Futurebirds, songwriter and poet Adia Victoria and Brooklyn’s Bette Smith.
Saturday, Oct. 1 will see the return of Widespread Panic who decimated Mempho Music Festival 2021 with two nights of non-stop jams. Portugal. The Man will serve as the evening’s second headliner. Celisse, the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, Amy Lavere and Big Ass Truck are also slated to perform.
On the final day of the festival, America’s favorite alternative rock band Wilco will serve as headliners to ease fans through the final stretch. Widespread Panic will return for a second headlining the slot that evening – for fans who would rather power through. Sunday will also feature performances by Allison Russell, Tank and the Bangas, Elizabeth King and Bobby Rush.
In what has become a tradition Mempho Music Festival is partnered with the Memphis-based charity St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, to help provide treatment to children diagnosed with cancer at no cost to their families.
