Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa Valley Adds Third Day to Lineup

Blue Note Jazz Festival has added a date to their forthcoming Napa Valley lineup, which is slated for July 30 and 31 at Charles Krug Winery. Due to high demand and the immediate sell-out of the inaugural affair, Blue Note Entertainment Group has tacked on a July 29 date, that will include added artists and exceptional talent. 

The newly added date will include performances from Chaka Khan, Kamasi Washington, Madlib, Chris Dave & The Drumhedz, Kenny Garrett, Alex Isley, DOMi & J.D. Beck, Kiefer + Amber of Moonchild, Marcus Strickland Twi-Life and DJ Jahi Sundance. As a special bonus, Friday will also include a Dinner Party featuring artist-in-residence, Robert Glasper, alongside Terrance Martin and Kamasi Washington, who will be joined by Snoop Dog. 

The original lineup includes Saturday performances by yasiin bey & Talib Kweli reuniting as Black Star, Thundercat, Flying Lotus, The Soul Rebels featuring GZA & Talib Kweli, Keyon Harrold, Phony PPL, Isaiah Sharkey, Domi & J.D. Beck, Butcher Brown and DJ Jahi Sundance. While Sunday will see sets by Maxwell, Corinne Bailey Rae, Emily King, Chief Adjuah (formerly Christian Scott), D Smoke and more.
