Atlanta’s Music Midtown festival set for Piedmont Park on Sept. 17 and 18 has been canceled. The headliners that were set to perform included Jack White, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy and Future.
In a statement on the festival’s website and on social media, the festival wrote, “due to circumstances beyond our control, Music Midtown will no longer be taking place this year. We were looking forward to reuniting in September and hope we can all get back to enjoying the festival together again soon.”
Additional artists that were set to perform at Music Midtown included Phoebe Bridgers, Mitski, Phoenix, Turnstile, Louis The Child, A Day To Remember, 2 Chainz, Quinn XCII, Conan Gray, Denzel Curry and more.
In the initial announcement of the festival, Live Nation Atlanta President Peter Conlon said, “Over twenty-five years strong, Music Midtown remains a monumental music festival that brings a diverse lineup of the biggest names in music year after year while giving back to the city that I proudly call home.”
In the brief statement canceling the festival, they also shared that refunds will be processed automatically within the next 24 hours to the original method of payment.
