The String Cheese Incident to Headline Inaugural Waterloo Festival in Austin

April 17, 2018

Waterloo Music Festival will debut this September in Austin, TX, and will be headlined by The String Cheese Incident, who will play all three nights of the new festival.

Waterloo, which will take place September 7–9 at Austin’s Carson Creek Ranch, was founded by Havin’ A Ball Productions and Heard Presents, a partner of Austin’s Euphoria Music Festival. Tickets to the inaugural festival go on sale this Friday, April 20, at 10am.

“With Waterloo, we set out to honor and celebrate the heritage and spirit of Austin, with world class music inspired by our roots, and a weekend long outdoor experience that would make our city proud,” festival co-founder Briggs Mitchell says. “We couldn’t think of a better place to call home than on the banks of the Colorado River, and to us, nothing brings together the creativity and soul of Austin more than three nights of The String Cheese Incident. We believe Austin deserves this festival and we are honored to host what we believe will become a legendary celebration for years to come.”

More information can be found at the festival’s website.
