That GODBONER debut at Summer Camp Music Festival is still reverberating through the music world as Umphrey’s McGee and Gene Ween joined forces for a full set of Ween and other classics (mainly Billy Joel’s “The Stranger”). Now, the festival has shared a pro-shot video of “Voodoo Lady” from the set, which you can watch below.

The origins of GODBONER go back to Umphrey’s McGee’s New Year’s run at The Tabernacle in Los Angeles where Brendan Bayliss declared they would no longer go by Umphrey’s McGee, but rather GODBONER. Whether this was a brilliant case of foreshadowing or not, it’s cool to see the new alias debut with something like this. And, as always with Umphrey’s, it leaves the question as to what could possibly be next in the GODBONER series.
