In case you’re just coming out from under your rock, the Chicago Blackhawks clinched the Stanley Cup last night, cementing themselves as one of the dynasty franchises in professional sports. There was a lot of celebrating in the Windy City last night, and one rock legend got really close to the action. Rage Agains the Machine’s Tom Morello, who grew up in Libertyville, IL (a suburb of Chicago), was on hand to take in the team’s third Cup since 2010.
Morello also got to spend some time with Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews, who along with Patrick Kane have led the Hawks to three Stanley Cups. In that trio, as you see above, was fellow Chicago suburb native Vince Vaughn, whose Blackhawks fandom has shown up in a number of his films including The Dilemma. Vaughn and Morello also interviewed Toews, which you can watch here.
