Watch: Tame Impala’s “Let it Happen” Video is Every Nightmare Imaginable

Think about all the nightmares you have had over the course of your life: You’re falling, you’re drowning, you’re in a plane crash, etc. Now take all of that sheer terror and put it into a music video and you have Tame Impala’s “Let it Happen.”
Our subject is this gentlemen running aimlessly through an airport to be named later. He’s having a heart attack, or some type of health issue, and in the process of dying he goes through various hallucinations where he’s in a fancy hotel, then on a plane that’s on its way to a fiery end. It’s one long nightmare set to Tame Impala’s lead single from their stellar Currents, but our main character eventually heads towards the light, hopefully on his way to a more peaceful afterlife.
