Watch Ryan Stasik Sit In at an Umphrey’s McGee-Themed Comedy Show in New York

January 25, 2018

During Umphrey’s McGee’s recent run at New York’s Beacon Theatre, the West Side Comedy Club, located across the street from the venue, hosted an Umphrey’s-themed night of comedy, and UM bassist Ryan Stasik decided to take in some of the festivities and even joined the comedians on stage.

SiriusXM personality Brett Siddell headlined the show, which was dubbed “Wokes With Jokes” and also featured host Richie Alfson and comedians Pamela Mahler, Ariella Wallen and Walker Berry. Stasik was in the audience after his own performance at the Beacon, and the bassist got up on stage at the end of the night to crack a few jokes of his own and even lead the comedians and crowd in a round of whistling a lá Umphrey’s McGee’s “Whistle Kids” off their new album it’s not us
