Brooklyn Bowl played host to an East Coast meeting between Phil Lesh and the Terrapin Family Band, an ensemble that typically performs at Lesh’s own Terrapin Crossroads. The February 12 show produced numerous highlights including the segment below which includes the Dead classic “Shakedown Street” and Dire Straits’ “Sultans of Swing.” 

The Terrapin Family Band features many of Lesh’s frequent collaborators at his Terrapin Crossroads including son Grahame as well as Alex Koford, Ross James and Jason Crosby along with a whole host of musicians who have joined the fold over the years including Scott Law, Elliott peck, Scott Guberman, Stu Allen and many more.
