Watch Luther Dickinson Team Up with Tedeschi Trucks Band for a Devastating “Elizabeth Reed”

Tedeschi Trucks Band are simply realigning the foundation of the Beacon Theatre this week with the fourth of six shows in the book, as their final two will come this weekend. Last night’s festivities were no different, as the band raised the bar to yet another level, inviting Luther Dickinson on stage for a take on the Allman Brothers’ “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.”
The result, as you’d probably expect when you pit two of the most unique and gifted guitar players against each other, is an 18-minute guitar duel that exceeded the hype. If you like a good Trucks and Dickinson jam surrounded by a whole bunch of other great players, then this is right up your alley.
