Jimmy Kimmel is really, really good at making people look really dumb. And he’s done it again. The TV host is currently in Austin, TX with the rest of the world for South by Southwest, the annual wear-a-badge-and-see-cool-shit summit, and he isn’t wasting this opportunity.

Kimmel decided to take this opportunity to bring Lie Witness News back to Austin, asking people about fake bands and DJs like Mary Kate and Nasty, Cheese Wiz Khalifa, DJ Jimmy and the Kimmels, Eddie and His Man Purse and of course–So Much Marijuana. Not wanting to expose their lack of knowledge, they played along to hilarious results.

You can decide for yourself if you think this is all fake (it probably is), but regardless it’s still entertaining to watch these supposed know-it-alls lie through their teeth for television purposes. Check it out below.
