Last time on HBO’s Togetherness, the show closed with Mark Duplass and Steve Zissis air-drumming to the iconic solo in Rush’s “Tom Sawyer.” Well, last night on Conan, Mark and brother Jay showed off their air-drum skills to the song along with the host. Hilariously enough, Jay and Mark also share an embarrassing tale of performing said solo at a college party, much to the annoyance of everyone at the party.

Nobody wants to be air-guitar or air-drum guy (and especially not air-bass guy), but this is particularly hysterical as the brothers Duplass rope Conan into giving it a shot and, as it appears, their air-drum skills haven’t diminished over the years. Replay the performance below.
