Watch: Good Guys The Killers Cover Kings of Leon After the Band’s Set was Cancelled

Rock and roll is a team sport after all, and The Killers did their best to help out fellow brothers in rock Kings of Leon as the Vegas group paid tribute to the Nashville outfit with a cover of their song “The Bucket” at Firefly Music Festival yesterday. Kings of Leon were originally supposed to headline Saturday night at the festival (Paul McCartney handled the duties on Friday night) but were forced to cancel when the festival grounds were evacuated due to extreme weather.

Along with “The Bucket,” Brandon Flowers and co. later dipped into Kings of Leon’s catalog with a brief singalong version of their hit “Use Somebody.” Kings of Leon weren’t the only casualty of a dangerous lightning storm as sets from Sublime with Rome, Rustie and Kid Cudi were also cancelled.

Watch The Killers appease the Kings of Leon faithful during their second show in nearly a year.
