Watch: Foo Fighters Welcome Gary Clark Jr., Perry Farrell in Los Angeles

As promised, the Foo Fighters’ LA run at The Forum did not disappoint, as the group’s calls to their musical friends paid off over the course of the run. On opening night, Grohl, still perched up on his rock and roll throne, and the band jammed with Stevie Nicks, HAIM and even brought Jack Black out for a quick snippet of “Tom Sawyer.”

Last night, it was more of the same as Jane’s Addiction was in the house to support the group. First, it was bassist Chris Chaney who joined the band on “Cold Day in the Sun” led by Taylor Hawkins. The drummer commented that Chaney and him played together in Alanis Morissette’s band and called him one of his best friends. Later on in the set, Gary Clark Jr., who opened the show, joined the band on their Austin, TX-themed tune “What Did I Do?/God As My Witness.” The performance marks just the second all-time and first this year, as Clark played on the tune on the Foos’ Sonic Highways

The evening was capped by a two-song performance from Jane’s frontman Perry Farrell, who serenaded the Los Angeles crowd in only the way he can on Jane’s tunes “Had a Dad” and “Been Caught Stealing.” Watch below.
