Watch: Foo Fighters Cover Rolling Stones with Pearl Jam Drummer
Foo Fighters are currently in South America kicking off their Sonic Highways tour that’ll last for the foreseeable future. During the band’s stop in Argentina, they welcomed out a pair of special guests for a cover of The Stones’ “Miss You,” a mainstay in their set lately. Along with Jonny Kaplan, frontman for a popular Stones cover band, former Pearl Jam drummer Dave Krusen replaced Taylor Hawkins on drums for the performance.
Krusen was the first in a long line of drummers for Pearl Jam, but he has the distinction of being first and playing on their landmark debut Ten. Krusen left Pearl Jam shortly after the sessions were completed to check himself into rehab giving way to a short stint from Matt Chamberlain and then Dave Abbruzzese, Jack Irons and Matt Cameron.
