Dawes’ very touching title track from their latest album reads like a love letter to musicians, and the LA rockers took that to heart as the band enlisted some of their favorite musicians and friends to help them out with the official video for the song. Throughout the video you’ll spot close Dawes associates like Blake Mills and Conor Oberst as well as Brandon Flowers, My Morning Jacket, Deer Tick’s John McCauley, Gilian Welch and Dave Rawlings, among many others. The video closes with Taylor Goldsmith playing the final chorus with a children’s choir and it’s enough to melt whatever icicles may be forming around your cold heart.

Dawes frontman Taylor Goldsmith told Pitchfork, “This is really a video made by our friends. All we told everyone is that we wanted some footage of them singing our song. All of their different settings and situations were completely their ideas. We had no idea what to expect. But we really love how it came together and for us, it really seems to suggest the musical family we feel lucky enough to have been a part of over the last six years.”
