Watch: Dave Grohl’s Orthopedic Surgeon Sings “Seven Nation Army” at Fenway
Dave Grohl’s Broken Leg Tour rolled on as Foo Fighters spent two nights at Boston’s famed Fenway Park following a two-nighter at New York’s Citi Field. Last night, the frontman celebrated with his orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Lew C. Schon, as he invited him on stage to take lead vocals on The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army.”
“This is the man who made it possible for me to play a fucking show tonight,” Grohl exclaimed to the crowd. The good doctor then took to the mic about halfway through the band’s set to lead Fenway on the classic singalong. Coincidentally enough, music runs in Dr. Lew’s family, as his son is Jeremy Schon, lead guitarist of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong.
