Dave Grohl returned to the stage for the first time since breaking his leg to celebrate the Foo Fighters’ 20th anniversary with a blowout at Washington, DC’s RFK Stadium. While the frontman was still in a cast that stretched from just below his knee all the way to his foot, Grohl was quite literally put on a throne from which to play.

The throne is everything you’d ever want as a rock God, complete with lights and broken guitar necks. It’s something out of the rock and roll version of Game of Thrones. And yes, it moves too. Multiple times throughout the show, Grohl rolled out to the front of the crowd from his seated throne.

Watch below as the band plays “For All the Cows” following Grohl bringing his mother Virginia out on stage.
