Watch Bob Weir and Blackberry Smoke Cover Chuck Berry’s “Promised Land”

A fitting release given the unfortunate death of the legendary Chuck Berry over the weekend, this new preview of Bob Weir and Blackberry Smoke’s collaboration at TRI Studios finds the ensemble dabbling in Berry’s “Promised Land.”
An Evening at TRI, which is available here, features the Grateful Dead guitarist teaming with the Southern rockers for a selection of Dead cuts as well as covers like “Deep Elem Blues,” “Up On Cripple Creek” and “The Weight.”
