In case you were caught up in all of the Star Wars craze today, Bela Fleck & the Flecktones announced their return at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival today. The band will reunite after three years dormant while Jeff Coffin toured with Dave Matthews Band and the other members embarked on various other projects.  

Many moons ago, the Flecktones were regulars on tour with Dave Matthews Band, and together, they formed one impenetrable wall of sound when collaborating. On a couple of breezy Spring evenings in Canada, on a fairly underrated tour in DMB-world, the band and the Flecktones combined for a pair of massive jams including a 32-minute “#41” in Ottawa and a 24-minute “Two Step” in Toronto. Easily two of the finest things to ever grace America’s Hat.
