Longtime Phish fan Matt Laurence recently shared footage of Phish’s entire 8/3/91 show at Amy’s Farm, the Maine locale owned by Amy Skelton where Phish played many of their first large-scale outdoor events.

“This was the small, friendly version of a Phish festival. What it lacked in spectacle, it made up for in ease of access,” fan David “ZZYZX” Steinberg said of Amy’s Farm in the third edition of the Phish Companion.

Laurence unearthed the footage in conjunction with Phish.net to raise funds and awareness for the Mockingbird Foundation, the all-volunteer nonprofit started by Phish fans to raise funds for music education in schools.

Laurence started digitizing his Amy’s Farm footage – which was captured on an old school VHS camera – last year, and the 8/3/91 show is a real standout gig. It kicks off with a rocking “Wilson”> “Foam” segment and even features a didgeridoo on a set three “Buried Alive.”
