Video: Ryan Adams Visits _Ellen_ for “Gimme Something Good”

On the eve of the start of his tour, Ryan Adams visited Ellen to deliver yet another rendition of his single “Gimme Something Good” for the West Coast audience. The guitarist, supporting not just his new self-titled record but also a stellar punk-infused EP, will hit the road beginning today in Santa Barbara, CA.
Adams and his band The Shining recently completed a brief run in the U.K. which included a special sit-in from Johnny Depp during the encore. The group also highlighted the iTunes Festival in London and made a couple of stops in Amsterdam.
Watch the performance below. Ellen, however, did not ask for an encore like Letterman did earlier in the month. Maybe next time, Ryan.
