Santa Barbara’s Givers & Takers are gaining renown for their unique psychedelic-soul sound. The group will release an EP in the coming months and today we share the official video for their single “Strangers,” which is now available at Amazon and iTunes. Guitarist Mark Pollack tells Relix, “The ‘Strangers’ music video explores the major theme of the song – that if you want to be free, you are allowed to be, while also alluding to the idea that we often fall victim to devices and circumstances of our own making.” Lead vocalist Zack Greenwald adds, “If we don’t stay aware, we can easily find ourselves trapped in a reality we never saw coming.” Givers & Takers will perform in the Los Angeles area over the coming weeks, with their next gig on April 27 at the Sassafras Saloon.
