A few weeks ago, Portland, Oregon singer/songwriter Corey Harper debuted his new song “Favorite Part of Loving You.” Today we share the official video for the warm and wistful track. Harper continues to win over new ears with his soulful, emotive original music which has been likened to the sounds of John Mayer and Ben Howard. Harper also has a predilection for the blues and names Stevie Ray Vaughan and B.B. King as two sources of inspiration.

Harper explains that the song “is a way of being able to grasp the idea of moving on without a bitter taste in my mouth, and heal the wounds that were left, ironically with the flashbacks of reciprocal feelings that person gave you during the lovely moments. The song re-paints the darker canvas of an era in my life with brighter colors to look back on, and carry through into a new one.”
