Video Premiere: Brazilian Girls Return with “Let’s Make Love”

May 2, 2018

Brazilian Girls have just released their first record since 2008’s New York City. Longtime collaborator Frederik Rubens produced Let’s Make Love, which was written and recorded across the globe, where the four band members currently live and work. The new record captures the spirit and energy that first garnered the group acclaim on their 2005 self-titled debut. Today we premiere the official video for the title track. Lead singer Sabina Sciubba tells Relix that the video is “a snapshot of our collective behavior. The real world is beautiful, but we’re lazy. Soon even for the laziest amongst us, it becomes sickening. Look inside: A great bright light is in each one of us, imagine it, and it’s there, always. That light is happiness. Let’s make love.”

Brazilian Girls will launch a series of dates, in support of the album, starting on Saturday night at Brooklyn’s Music Hall Of Williamsburg. The quartet’s complete itinerary appears below the video.
