Video: Jack White Talks Ankle Injury, Performs on _Ellen_

Jack White continued his media tour today as he visited Ellen for an interview and performance. White delivered the Lazaretto cut “Would You Fight For My Love” for the broadcast and “Alone in My Home” as a web exclusive, marking the live TV debuts for both of those songs.

A very out of breath White took to the couch following his performance to rap with the host, mostly about his severely sprained ankle he suffered earlier this year during a performance in Oakland. While he was advised to cancel his tour, White soldiered on with some help, as he explains, from the Oakland A’s training staff. The guitarist also gives a rare glimpse into his life as a father, saying he only lets his kids play with “mechanical” toys (no video games) like pinball.
