Yes, it’s true. Brian Wilson, Dave Grohl, Lorde, Chris Martin, Florence Welch, Brian May, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Sam Smith and more have teamed up for an all-star version of The Beach Boys classic “God Only Knows.”

The collaboration coincides with the launch of BBC Music and features an 80-piece orchestra. If you look closely, you’ll also be able to spot BBC’s own Zane Lowe spinning records, Jake Bugg, Kylie Minogue, Jools Holland and yes, One Direction. The video was shot at London’s Alexandra Palace, the site of BBC’s first broadcast nearly 100 years ago.

On the song, Brian Wilson told The Guardian, “All of the artists did such a beautiful job I can’t thank them enough. I’m just honoured that God Only Knows was chosen. God Only Knows is a very special song. An extremely spiritual song and one of the best I’ve ever written.”
