Singer-songwriter Ryan Montbleau will release an intimate new live album, Woodstock Sessions, this Friday, October 26, and today we premiere a video taken from that session—which was recorded in December 2017 at Applehead Recording in Saugerties, NY—of Montbleau teaming up with electro-folk duo Tall Heights for a touching rendition of his tune “All or Nothing.”

“This is one of the songs that we put out a few years back, and the performance felt perhaps the strongest of any song we did that night,” Montbleau tells Relix. “In the last year or two, this song has taken on new meaning for me when I perform it live, almost taking on a political bent in my mind. These are crazy days—time to get in the ring of life or get the hell out of here.”

Applehead also happens to be the studio where Montbleau and his band recorded their debut album back in 2005. ““There was something special about performing there again after going into that same studio as a young buck trying to figure out how to make my first records,” Montbleau says. “Coming back, I was a decade more confident, a decade stronger in my craft. It felt like coming full circle.”
