TV Roundup: Kings of Leon, Deer Tick Play New Material
Wednesday night was certainly a busy night in television, as two notable acts graced the late night stage to perform material from their forthcoming albums. The first, Kings of Leon, took the stage on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to perform the U.S. debut of “Temple” from their newly released album Mechanical Bull. The Kings’ week, to say the least, has been hectic, with appearances on Good Morning America on Monday and a set on Live on Letterman scheduled for tonight. Check out “Temple” below.
Transitioning from NBC to TBS (much like this next host did) we move on to Conan where Rhode Island rockers Deer Tick took the stage to perform “The Dream’s in the Ditch” from their latest, Negativity. Deer Tick is currently wrapping up a North American tour tonight in Los Angeles before beginning a short European tour.
