The New Orleans Pelicans ran into a god damn freight train from hell last night when they opened their season against the Golden State Warriors and Mumford & Sons superfan, Steph Curry, who put a forty-burger right on their terrifying mascot’s head. That said, the team does have a kickass new intro to their local Fox Sports New Orleans broadcasts featuring none other than New Orleans’ own Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews.

In the 90-second video, Andrews rides around New Orleans with Anthony Davis, Dante Cunningham and Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry while his tune “You and I (Outta This Place)” soundtracks the festivities. It’s just another in a long line of cool shit Andrews is getting into, including serving as the voice for Miss Othmar in the Peanuts movie. And yes, he also spent some time at The White House recently. I hear it’s quite nice there.

Watch the Pelicans’ Fox Sports open video with Andrews and a bunch of the players below.
