Trey Anastasio Debuts George Harrison, Bob Marley and CSNY Covers in Brooklyn

After helping close the book on the Grateful Dead and scorching the earth with Phish’s latest summer tour, it’d almost be understandable for Trey Anastasio to coast through his upcoming solo tour. That wasn’t the case at all over the weekend as the guitarist headlined the beautiful Kings Theatre in Brooklyn for a pair of shows. Among the highlights were three new covers, including Bob Marley’s “Soul Rebel,” CSNY’s “49 Bye Byes” and a sweet cover of George Harrison’s even sweeter love song “What is Life.”

Replay all three new covers below and, as a bonus, also check out the “Dazed and Confused” bustout that closed the second set on night two.
