Throwback Thursday: Jack White Reunites The Raconteurs, Performs with Loretta Lynn in Nashville

Rob Slater on June 4, 2015

Today, Jack White will be inducted into the Nashville Music City Walk of Fame alongside Loretta Lynn. To celebrate, let’s flashback to White’s landmark gig at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena where he reunited The Raconteurs and played with the very singer-songwriter he’ll be inducted with today.

In a brief run of arena shows in early January, White returned to his current home and brought with him all of Nashville’s finest as he brought out Brendan Benson and Jack Lawrence for a pair of tunes–“Salute Your Solution” and “Steady, As She Goes.” Following that, White welcomed out Lynn for a pair of songs including the duet “Portland, Oregon” from her Van Lear Rose album produced by White. A few days later, White would make his triumphant return to Madison Square Garden where he’d bring along Run the Jewels and collaborate with Q-Tip.
