The Jazz Foundation Hosts Annual Loft Party (A Gallery)

The Jazz Foundation of America hosted their annual Jazz Loft Party in New York on Saturday night. The event served as a tribute to Claude Nobs and featured the likes of Bettye LaVette, Shuggie Otis, Kenny Baron, Stanley Jordan, and more. Special guests to the event included guitarist Blackbyrd McNight of P-Funk fame as well as guitarist Brian Seeger. Hosted by Red Hot Chili Peppers’ drummer Chad Smith, the event aims to assist elderly musicians later in life. More information can be found via The Jazz Foundation of America’s website.
