All this week, Jimmy Kimmel is broadcasting from Brooklyn’s Academy of Music and will welcome guests like Jay Z, Donald Trump, Tracy Morgan and many more throughout. To kick it off, the Brooklyn native brought out Ryan Adams to deliver another Taylor Swift cover from his reimagining of 1989

Adams initially debuted three Swift tunes live on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, playing “Bad Blood,” “Style” and “Blank Space.” Last night, the first live version of “Welcome to New York” came to life, the very first song Adams recorded for the project. Joining the band for this performance was drummer Nate Lotz.
