Ryan Adams and Noel Gallagher kicked off their brief run together at Michigan’s Meadowbrook Amphitheatre and the guitarist got back to his ol’ improv roots with a funny song about a spider.

There’s talk about killing the spider, eating it, befriending it. It sounds like The Shining guitarist Mike Viola is the culprit of killing the spider and Adams is saying he won’t kill said spider on his watch. Stay tuned for updates on the spider’s condition. I imagine spiders were harmed in the making of this song. Either way, it leads into “Let it Ride” after a solo from Adams.
