Roger Waters, Billy Corgan, Tom Morello and More Cover Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan at MusiCorps Benefit Show

October 20, 2015

Roger Waters, Billy Corgan, Tom Morello, Sheryl Crow, G.E. Smith and many other musicians came together the other night at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC to benefit MusiCorps, an organization that does great things for veterans in the name of music.

Waters remained for most of the show, which featured takes on Floyd’s “Mother,” “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” and “Money,” among others. Joining the ensemble, which also featured the MusiCorps Band, were the likes of Tom Morello, Billy Corgan, Sheryl Crow, G.E. Smith, Greg Galeazzi, Tim Donley and more for a variety of other tunes. The encore was comprised of a pair of covers including Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” and a finale singalong of Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young.”
