Remembering the Levon Helm Tribute Show with Roger Waters, My Morning Jacket, John Mayer, Warren Haynes and Others

Today in 2012, Levon Helm passed away at the age of 71 after a fight with an aggressive form of cancer. About six months later, the likes of Roger Waters, My Morning Jacket, John Mayer, Gregg Allman, Bruce Hornsby, Grace Potter and many, many others turned out to East Rutherford, NJ’s IZOD Center for an all-star tribute dubbed “Love for Levon.” 

As we remember the legendary Band drummer today, revisit some selections from that show including collaborations between Roger Waters and My Morning Jacket as well as Gregg Allman and Warren Haynes, Ray LaMontagne and John Mayer and Garth Hudson and John Prine.
