Prince Once Fired Questlove From DJ Gig, Played ‘Finding Nemo’ Instead

If you’ve ever read Questlove’s phenomenal autobiography Mo’ Meta Blues, you know his affinity for Prince. So you know it must’ve cut him real deep when The Purple One kicked him off the decks in place of Finding Nemo.
Quest tweeted yesterday that Prince indeed fired him from a DJ gig at a nightclub to play the popular Pixar movie on the screen. The tweet coincided with the release of the trailer for Finding Dory, the sequel to the film. Let’s hope that Quest can make amends with the cast of the film and ultimately with Prince.
